if i could change one thing...

I would change the fact that most of the time what we learn has nothing to do with the class we're in or the fact that we will never have to use that bit of information again. Nothing makes me more mad than when the teacher even says to us we will never use the information again. It's like, why are you wasting my time with this if I won't ever use it again!? For example, this year in college level engligh we did a unit on criminals. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ENGLISH?!? Nothing. Thats right. Nothing. So if I could change anything it would be the content that they actually teach us. I would make sure it is related to the course completely.
